Privacy Policy

YourBD — Effective date: September 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what AZ LABS LTD, the developer of YourBD ("YourBD", "we", "us"), collects when you use the YourBD website and mobile application (the "Service"), how we use it, how we share and protect it, and the choices you have. The Service is intended for adults 18+ only.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect your contacts or precise location. We access photos, files, or the microphone only when you choose a feature that requires them and grant the relevant device permission.

2. How we use data

Operate the Service: deliver chats and stories, remember your name, language, and conversation history across devices.
Generate AI responses: your messages are sent to AI model providers acting as our processors to produce replies. They are not used to train their public models.
Enforce limits and prevent abuse, including automated content moderation for prohibited content.
Process purchases and manage subscription entitlements.
Send service notifications (for example replies from your companions) if you enable push notifications.
Debug, secure, and improve the Service.
With your permission on the website, measure visits and feature usage through Google Analytics.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share data with

Infrastructure: Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, cloud functions).
Analytics: Google Analytics, only after you allow analytics on the website. We configure it without advertising signals and do not send story text, chat content, email addresses, or names.
AI providers: chat text is processed by large-language-model and image-generation providers under data-processing agreements.
Payments: Google Play and Apple for in-app purchases, and our web payment provider for purchases made on the website.
Legal: authorities when required by applicable law.

We never share your conversations publicly and we do not post anything on your behalf.

4. Website analytics and your choice

Google Analytics is disabled by default for a new website visitor. If you choose “Allow analytics,” the website stores that preference in your browser and sends page-view and feature-interaction events to Google Analytics. You can choose “Necessary only” to use the website without analytics.

To change your choice later, clear the YourBD site data in your browser and reload the website. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or send the text of your chats or stories to it.

5. Retention and deletion

Account, chats, and preferences are kept while your account is active.
You can delete individual chats in the app, or delete your entire account in Account settings — this removes your profile, chats, stories, and custom characters from our active systems within 30 days.
Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.

6. Your rights

Depending on your region (including GDPR and CCPA rights), you may request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Use the in-app account tools or contact us at support@yourbd.ai. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored in access-controlled Google Cloud infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

The Service is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; such accounts are deleted when identified.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own (including the United States and the EU) under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. The date above shows the latest revision.
