Terms of Use

YourBD — Effective date: July 3, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and YourBD ("YourBD", "we", "us") governing your use of the YourBD website and mobile application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Adults only (18+)

The Service provides AI-generated companion chat, stories, and media intended strictly for adults. You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and only where such content is lawful for you. We may suspend accounts we reasonably believe belong to minors.

2. Nature of the Service

All characters and conversations in the Service are fictional and generated by artificial intelligence. Characters are depicted as adults (18+). The Service is entertainment only: nothing in it is professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and AI responses may be inaccurate. AI companions are not real people and no real relationship is created.

3. Account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You can sign in with Google, Apple, or email and password.
You may delete your account at any time in Account settings. Deletion removes your profile, chats, and stories from our active systems.

4. Acceptable use and content rules

You agree not to use the Service to request, create, or share content that involves:

minors in any sexual or suggestive context, or characters presented as minors — zero tolerance;
non-consensual sexual activity, sexual violence, or exploitation presented as real;
real, identifiable persons without their consent (including deepfakes);
incitement of violence, terrorism, human trafficking, or other illegal acts;
harassment, threats, or hate directed at real people or groups;
attempts to bypass safety filters, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.

We use automated content moderation and human review. We may filter or refuse prompts, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. You can report objectionable content or block a character from within the app, or by contacting support; reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.

5. User content and license

You keep ownership of the prompts and custom characters you create. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the content you create with the tools we provide.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Premium subscriptions unlock higher usage limits and additional features while active.
Purchases made in the iOS app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Refunds for Apple purchases are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Refunds for purchases made on the web are handled by our payment provider and support team.
Prices and features may change; changes apply from the next billing period.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, characters we provide, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights except the limited personal, non-transferable right to use the Service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
