Begin with a character who wants something

YourBD lets you create a fictional adult character as well as choose an existing one. Before opening the constructor, decide what makes this person worth talking to. “A guide who needs your help but will not admit it” gives you a relationship and a reason for a scene.

Write three sentences: who the character is, what they want right now, and what makes asking difficult. Keep the background short enough to affect the next reply. Create fictional adults and respect other people's identities and private information.

Take the concept into the constructor

1. Open the character constructor. Sign in if the product asks you to.
2. Choose the available appearance and style options. Keep the visual concept consistent with your fictional adult.
3. Use the concept to guide the character details and relationship choices offered by the current interface.
4. Review the generated portrait, profile and opening before you start a conversation. Adjust incorrect details through the available product controls.
5. Start with a message that belongs in the opening scene. Change one detail at a time when the conversation needs adjustment.

Recognize the voice in a short exchange

Ask an ordinary question, offer a small favor, then disagree politely. See whether the voice remains recognizable across those moments. An observant character can notice a detail; an independent one can hesitate before accepting help.

If every reply sounds alike, replace broad adjectives with observable habits. “She makes a joke before admitting she is worried” expresses a voice more clearly than “quirky.” Keep the one or two traits that make the relationship interesting.
